Imperial Aquila Necklace
As member of the Adepta Ministrorum, in particular the Adepta Sororitas, Zita is allowed to wear this holy symbol. She wears Aquily proudly and all the time as a constant reminder of her unwavering faith in the Emperor. This particular piece is made of silver mined from the sacred mountains on Ophelia VII and was given to Zita by the Abess Sanctorum herself when Zita was accompanying Halina, her mentor, to a convent on Holy Terra.

Chaplet Ecclasiasticus
An important symbol for the Adepta Sororitas is the Chaplet Ecclesiasticus. This token that is worn visibly. One could argue that it is a essential part of the armor of the Daughters of the Emperor. A visible sign (as if still necessary) to show everyone that the Daughters of the Emperor belong to the Adepta Ministrorum. (Left)
After she came in the service of Inquisitor Irae Illustro Vindixus III she started wearing the Chaplet Ecclesiasticus of the Inquisition as well. (Right) |
Ring of Suffrage
Zita's ring of suffrage. The Fleur De Lis is the symbol for the Adepta Sororitas. It is present on many of of their garments, armor, weapons and personal belongings. Many of the sisters have the symbol tattooed on their body. Zita is no exception to this tradtion and wears here tattoo on her right cheek, ever visible unless she puts on her helmet. This ring with the Fleur De Lis symbol, inlaid with nine dark red ruby stones, is Zita's ring of suffrage she received when she pledged the solidarity oath to the Daughters of the Emperor. This particular ring can be fitted into a slightly larger golden disc, that Zita wears as a pendant, to make wax seal stamp.

Codex Adepta Sororitas
This book is a hand written copy of the Codex Adepta Sororitas, describing the rules of conduct a Daughter of the Emperor should always follow. This book it the first of many books any member of the Adepta Sororitas has to copy, as it helps them to learn those rules by heart. It is wise to keep it always with you, for who knows what strange events might happen. When pure devotion and common sense are not enough, one might need to skim through the pages to find the wisdom for the task at hand.

Librum Orationes (Book of Prayers)
"A spiritu dominatus, Domine, Libra nos." Those are the first words in the second book a Battle Sister starts two write; her personal Book of Prayers. It is a constant work in progress that collects all the prayers she makes and learns in her career. The worn look of the leather binding gives away the fact that this book is used daily, whether it is for adding more invocation, reciting them or copying pieces for the use as purity seals.

The family heirloom
This little trinket is the only personal item Zita has left from her life before she joined the Adepta Sororitas. It was given to her by her mother on the day of her eitghth birthday, as she said goodbye when Zita was taken away by Sister Halina. "Never forget who you are!" were the words accompanying the gift of the amulet. Zita was never told what is was and up until now, the actual meaning of the amulet hasn't been revealed. She keeps it hidden from sight and close to her body and seems to find comfort in the cold touch of the stone on her skin.

Laspistol
A laspistol does not have anywhere near the range of the lasgun, as the power of the las-bolt dissipates into the atmosphere after only a short distance. However, within its limited range, it has the same devastating result as a lasgun, producing an explosion upon contact with a target. The laspistol lacks the lasgun's selective fire options, having only the ability to fire single shots. The limited range of the weapon makes it primarily used for gaining an extra attack in close combat, and actually shooting the gun is sometimes foregone in favour of this attack.

Field dressing
A field dressing or battle dressing is a kind of bandage intended to be carried by soldiers for immediate use in case of (typically gunshot) wounds. It consists of a large pad of absorbent cloth, attached to the middle of a strip of thin fabric used to bind the pad in place. Instructions of use are to found on the package itself. Standard doctrine is that a casualty's dressing should be used rather than the rescuer's - the rescuer may need to help another casualty, or be helped himself, whereas the original casualty is not going to make any other use of his own dressing.

Adepta Sororitas Power Armor
The Adepta Sororitas use a version of power armour designed for the human shape and size, known as Sororitas Power Armour. Sororitas Power Armour is the only enduring legacy of the reign of Goge Vandire, who commissioned the armour for his Brides of the Emperor, where today it serves the Sisters of Battle. Crafted by the forges of Mars, Sororitas Power Armour is relatively lighter than most suits, providing excellent protection and increased strength at negligible loss to the user's mobility and agility. It uses the same power source as the Astartes, and thus will effectively last forever if properly maintained and undamaged.
Though Sororitas Power Armour provides the same level of protection as suits worn by the Space Marines, the lack of a Black Carapace means the Battle Sister cannot fully interface with the armour and so lacks the same strength enhancement and other advanced life-support features found in Astartes power armour. Still, Sororitas Power Armour does improve the user's strength and allows them to better handle heavy weapons more easily. The 'Sabbat' Pattern Sororitas Helm has been a standard part of this power armour since the mid-38th Millennium. In addition to a comm-link and rebreather unit for limited operation in a total vacuum, the helmet includes full-spectrum filtering and psycho-oculal buffering to assist the (less physically durable) human mind from being rendered insensible by battlefield conditions. For the Battle Sisters of the Calixis Sector, this helm is issued only after they have proven themselves worthy of wearing it. |
