It saddened me that I was sent away. After all, Sister Halina was the one who brought me into the Ordor Adepta Sororitas and had been my mentor from the beginning. It was hard for me to even think about my life before I joined the Sisterhood. Not that I forgot about my parents and siblings. No, I had even visited them on rare occasions, but for more than three quarters of my life, I'd been under the care of Sister Halina. The order I received was clear though and sure enough, after a few days I could board the "Punisher Claw", an Imperial class Cruiser set for the Calixis sector.
The travel through the immaterium was rough but we made it safely into the heart of the Calixis sector. Although I finally am back in the sector of space where I grew up, it didn't feel like coming home. Something has changed; whether it is me or something else I can not say.
Scintilla looks the same as I remember, crowded, polluted and cramped. Although I made my share of travels and visited a lot of planets, I can't get used to the sight of a planet reduced to a concrete jungle. I guess it's just because I was lucky to spent my entire youth on planets that were not over populated and where nature covered most of the surface. Don't get me wrong, the view from space and on descent is magnificent. The reflection of the clouds on the surface of Scintilla's vast ocean is truly a breathtaking spectacle.
As I stepped out of the landing craft, I savored the moment for a bit, lingering in the cold breeze and enjoying the warmth on my skin of scarce rays of sunlight that broke through the clouds that are dark from all the pollution in Scintilla's atmosphere.

Scintilla is dominated by two large hives, Sibellus and Tarsus, which hold the majority of the planetary population. There are also two "offspring" communities, Ambulon and Gunmetal city.
The hives itself can be divided into three distinct areas.
There is the upper hive where the noble and the wealthy live. The other end of the spectrum, the underhives, is home to the mutants, outlaws and ultra-violent gangs.
The middle hives are home to the laboring class. As soon as I arrived I was brought to that upper part of the subterranean levels of one of Scintilla's hives. This is what I would have to call my home for the next few months. No more sky views, only artificial lights and atmosphere.

It seems like I'm the first of the acolytes to arrive. This would be our "base of operations" for the time being. The inquisitor made sure we all had adjacent rooms in this building. Being the first is always fun; best choice of room! This also gave me the opportunity to check out the neighborhood before the rest would arrive or my training would start.
Scoping out the area around our building, I ventured off a little further then I would. Suddenly I realized that I found myself in the Downpour district. As I tried to find my way back, I stumbled upon a little church there. After speaking with the local priest by the name of father Leganus, I offered him to use my talent as a singer to luster his sermons.
Within the next week, the rest of the future acolytes of the cadre arrived. I am eager to know what mission lies ahead of us judging by the variety of the group that inquisitor Irae Illustro Vindixus III is gathering. So far, his cadre, our group of acolytes are:
- Calvin Octavius, techpriest
- Ragaa, assassin
- Fylan Distro, Imperial guard from the Death Korps of Krieg
- Victus Axtaxis, noble scum
- And myself: Zita, Adepta Sororitas
